On June 20, 2025, the fifth anniversary of the Prix Voltaire International was celebrated at Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin. A special day dedicated to sustainable innovation and to people who have the courage to challenge existing systems and create positive change.
The 2025 Prix Voltaire International was awarded to Dadá Borarí, in recognition of his fight against deforestation and his efforts to protect the Amazon and its indigenous communities.
The afternoon programme, Wet, Dry & Dirty, focused on water and sustainability. Paul O’Callaghan, Liza Faber and David Katz shared their perspectives on some of the key challenges facing the water sector, alongside innovative solutions presented by REDstack, instrAction and SeaO2.
C22 was proud to organise and moderate the afternoon programme, bringing together thought leaders, investors and solution providers around the future of water and sustainable innovation.
The day concluded with a special evening ceremony, where previous laureates including Paul Polman, Peter Bakker and David Katz shared their perspectives on the challenges and opportunities on the road towards a more sustainable future.
