Annelies Schenk

For more than a decade Annelies has leveraged her passion of building strategies to bring people and markets together, fostering entrepreneurship and supporting innovation. Annelies believes innovations are the propelling force to meet the global food & water demands. She is specialized in developing and managing innovation & start-up trajectories and building soft landing programs to connect start-ups with the right corporates, investors, and other stakeholders to accelerate their uptake of technologies for a more sustainable future

Annelies started her career in 2009 at the Jaarbeurs as Management trainee and after finishing this trajectory she became project manager for VIV, the platform which brings the Feed to Food industry together. After 4 years she got the opportunity to work for Amsterdam RAI as the Director for the Aquatech Global Events in China, India and USA. In 2016 Annelies was pulled to the ‘innovation’ side becoming the Program Director for Isle Utilities – a leading water consultancy firm bringing technology, end-users and investors together.

In 2019 she decided to take a break from work and spent quality with her two young kids and husband in South East Asia. Returning back in The Netherlands, Annelies decided to focus on making impact through C22 Impact Consultancy which means working on projects and connection to stimulating talent, unlock capital and market access in the water & agrifood space.
