Uplink-WEF launching a new insights paper, ‘Investing in Water – Aligning Investment Strategies with Water Innovation,’ which explores the current investment landscape, emerging opportunities, and the barriers that early-stage solutions face. Here are some key insights from the report:
💧 Water receives just 3% of climate-tech funding, despite 45% of global GDP being at risk from water scarcity. However, momentum is growing, with 2023 funding doubling from 2019.
💧 The early-stage start-up landscape is vibrant, with innovations across treatment, reuse, monitoring, and supply. The report shows how different investor profiles can align with these opportunities to create real impact.
